I am a strategic advisor on data & AI in government, global development, digital transformation and technology in low-resource settings more broadly. I am passionate about inclusive growth, political accountability, and entrepreneurship in emerging markets, especially using emerging technologies, AI, and data. I also write for Danish and global audiences on questions of AI, data, development, democracy, and human rights.
I have a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen and was a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University’s Department of Government as a Fulbright scholar. My dissertation studied authoritarian regimes, subnational political transition and political culture (see research & teaching page for more).
